About the Author

Sue Fliess is the award-winning, bestselling author of more than fifty children's books including Cicada Symphony, The Earth Gives More, and the Kid Scientist series. Her books have been named to notable lists and translated into multiple languages. Sue lives in Northern Virginia.



Petros Bouloubasis graduated from the Graphic Design Institute of Athens. His work is published and exhibited in Greece, Spain, Japan, Iran, Australia, France, Korea, Belgium and Turkey.     Good story, fun illustrations and bold colors. So glad I saw this book. I search for books all the time. This one I never saw before. To me it's definitely one to buy. The story is one that we all wish would work out this good with bullies.

Their run-in transfers Red's rhymes to an unexpected place. Rich, stylish art saturates and textures the pages, creating a new fresh world for a familiar premise. Clever "Little Red Rhyming Hood" creates space for teamwork to take root and friendships to bloom.

    This is a rhyming book that NAILS the story in addition to the rhyme. I love the layered themes of friendship, creativity, and teamwork. Not to mention kids will love this fractured version of Little Red Riding Hood. Fun, funny, suspenseful, and heartwarming.
